Show me the money!!
I heard back from my raise proposal! so, last year I got a 3% raise, which is pretty much on par for cost of living increase. This year I submitted a raise proposal showing how under-paid I am, and how I feel I deserve a raise. I even included graphs and quotes. heh.
It worked! I got myself a 15% raise! whee!! I'm going to do something crazy! Like, um, I dont even know! This is more money than I have ever had and it seems like such a huge jump! I was thinking of paying extra towards my mortgage principle, and then either towards my paralegal classes to get those paid off. Then, towards savings accounts. I think that sounds good. Tomorrow I'm going to have some fun re-working my budget. I know, I'm a nerd. :)
