(no subject)
I am wore out from this last weekend. We had one of Jerry's friends over for the weekend for Jerry's birthday, and then my friend from cornell came up and it was crazy. I'm doing two finals this weekend and some other homework stuff to finish it all up before monday, which is the start of my new classes. yikes! But funny enough, i think this month is going to be much less rushed. First off, Jerry's birthday isnt in the middle of it so we arent going out doing all that stuff. Also, now that its colder, we dont have as much stuff like camping, or softball or anything going on. After this month, I have the whole month of december off, which is nice. whew! and then back up again in jan. I should be all done with classes by the end of April.
Also - I was told at work, and then told it was between myself and my supervisor, she is hoping to get me into a permanant position with the government in the next couple months. Right now, the way the system works is you get hired but its a wicked long probation period, like 1-2 years. Then once you make permanant there is a pay bump and more vacation hours. I'm really excited if this can happen soon, and its funny its happening because we are getting an audit and my department will get dinged for not having enough permanant people. hurrah! That will be such a nice thing, I joked with jerry that once I get a pay bump and finish my paralegal classes we are re-doing the kitchen. its going to be awesome!
