Round 3: Challenge 3
Thanks everyone who voted in the poll, you're all great and very helpful!
It seems most of you are happy with the schedule as it is so we'll stick with it for the moment, if it seems to be causing problems later we can adjust it if necessary. Also since most of you were up for a mixture of types of challenge we're going to try our first themed challenge this week.
Don't forget if you haven't entered Challenge Two you have until Midnight GMT tonight (Friday, May 15th) to do so.

Special Category: This weeks special category is Most Original
Round 3: Challenge 3: I don't think there's a power in the verse could stop Kaylee from being cheerful.
The crew of Serenity went through a lot of tough times, but they also had a lot of fun along the way. This week your challenge is to make an icon featuring one of those times when they were happy.
Perhaps one of our big damn heroes smiling or laughing, maybe Kaylee in that dress from Shindig or River dancing in Safe. I'm sure you can all think of plenty of other examples.
I've provided three caps below which you're welcome to use if you wish to, or you can find your own caps. There are some links to galleries of caps at the bottom of this post if you don't know where to look.

- Only ONE icon per participant is to be submitted.
- You may use the caps provided below or choose your own.
- If you choose your own all caps must be screencaps from Firefly episodes or from Serenity.
Your icon must fit with the theme - see under the cut for more details - Icon must meet LJ Standards (100x100, 40kb or less, .png, .gif, or .jpg).
- No animation. Brushes, textures, blends, and text are all fine.
- Do not display your entry anywhere until the voting results are posted. All entries must remain anonymous.
- Post your icon and its URL as a comment to this post. All comments for this post will be screened.
- Entries will be due Friday, May 22nd, 2009 midnight GMT.
- If you are skipping this challenge, please leave a comment letting me know. You earn a point just for participating each week, but if you skip 3 challenges in a row, you will be disqualified.
