The front garden has been planted and you can actually see the dining room table. I have recycled about two dozen paper grocery bags of newspapers and other paper products, plus two green recycling bins worth of plastic ware, cans, and bottles. However, whilst I was so intent on cleaning the downstairs area, I have subsequently neglected my room and it is now littered with clothes and things. I need to fix that.
