Okay, turning fangirl off. Except not. Okay, okay, I'll turn it down. So I'm channel surfing this evening, and I see that the first Harry Potter movie is on ABC. Cool. I've only seen it one or two times, I figure I'll just sit down and rewatch. You know, get myself into the mood for when the third movie comes. And then they showed me their preview. OMG!! Thank God it's not Chris Columbus directing because I'm thinking this one could make up for Chamber of Secrets. From the previews alone, Emma Thompson had me crying with her interpretation of Trelawney, I was laughing so hard. And Michael Gambon taking on Dumbledore? Hell, anyone who pats Ron on his broken leg while giving a lecture deserves nothing but the highest praise in my books. Gary Oldman looks fantastic. David Thelwis looks fantastic. Tom Felton, Rupert Grint, Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, Emma Watson? All still fantastic. Any hey! There's the slight possiblity that all the talent is rubbing off on Daniel Radcliffe, because he was actually acting in the clips they were showing. I know! I couldn't believe it either!
Okay. I'm done now. I'm okay, and I'm really not the world's biggest geek and all excited over movies based on books that are written for people half my age...is it June 4th yet?
