I feel like I always need time to process your latest updates in order to write coherent thoughts/review, because this story affects me that much. It's so incredibly well written, so well-thought out and planned and you put such obvious care into it that it continually blows me away.
I continue to love love love the opening to each new chapter, the flash-forward to the future. I particularly loved the interaction between Blaine and Detective Warren here-I'd been wondering if she'd continue to be a part of his life, continue to interact with him since she's been such a key part of his current situation. I love that it's blunt, and realistic-Blaine's obviously had some struggles and extenuating circumstances, and I like how you show that people will continue to judge and make their own assumptions based on simple answers (the adoption interview)
I just...I can't say enough about this whole story/verse. It's so different from anything else in the glee fandom, so unique, but you write it so well and you show a real care for the topic, the characters, the situations. It always hurts, and I always find myself left with this ache, this want to just bundle Blaine up and hide him away, even though that's not at all what he wants.
I don't really have that much to say, but keep up the incredible work. <3
The more I wrote the scenes between Blaine and Warren, the more obvious it became to me that Blaine was getting to her in a way not a lot of people managed. Right about the time she gave him the Panda Sneeze Look in the last story, I realized I'd have to bring her back because they'd made such a strong impression on each other XD
