Does it mean I'm a bookworm if I knew almost every book? Too bad, I am a bookworm.
#1 - Voyage of the Dawn Treader - C.S. Lewis #4 - Price & Prejudice - Jane Austen #5 - To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee #7 - I know I had this book as a kid, it had beautiful drawings and I think there was a bear or a tiger or something in it, but I don't remember the title. #8 - Up The Down Staircase - Bel Kaufman #10 - It's killing me, I know I know it, but I don't know it, you know?
I'm in awe. #1 - Correct #4 - Correct #5 - Correct #7 - Quite frankly, I doubt anyone will get closer than this since the book is about a billion years old, so I'll give it a pass, whether you're thinking about Andy and the Lion or not. #8 - Correct and Oh. MahGod. Someone besides me has read this?
#1 - Best series evah!!!!!!! #4 - Goes to reread immediately, it's been too long. #5 - Best book evah, plus the only novel I love that has ever been translated into a GOOD movie. #7 - Don't think that was the one I was thinking about, did the author write several books? I need to delve into my attic and see if I can find the one I had. #8 - There are people who haven't read UTDS? Is that even allowed? That funky 60s style pink and red cover, Miss Barrett, Rusty, that Esquire kid!!
If no one guesses right you are going to have to tell me what #10 is before it kills me!
Hee. I'll give 10 another day or two, but you'll find out, I promise! I know the author of Andy and the Lion has written other books, but I don't remember what they are. Andy is so old it doesn't even have colour illustrations. Just line art and goldenrod for shading.
Re: UTDS Don't forget that bastard of an English teacher who edited the love note (who I've always thought was so flaming his closet was burning down, btw). Oh! And the teacher with the crush on the honors English student! "She can't even spell! He won the essay contest and she can't even spell!" Hee. Oh man, I need to go reread that book.
