Man, I've been pissed about FEMA during this entire thing with Katrina, but it's hatred now. Texas hasn't been (and probably won't be) reimbursed for all of the money spent on helping people from Louisiana, etc.
But, worse than that, Slidell, Louisiana has received nothing (like many other cities). Let me say that again: NOTHING. Slidell was promised RVs, generators, and much more. But FEMA has done nothing. I'll be interested to see what W. says tonight...to see if he even mentions Texas or Slidell. It will disappoint me greatly if the states of Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi don't take FEMA to court over this.
