i cannot stand when people are SEVERE conservatives or SEVERE liberals where they don't even think that anything the opposing individual has to say is credible. in my english class we have to write an argumentative paper. one student wrote about what the average american can do to slow climate change. and our prof asked if any of us had seen an inconvenient truth. this guy who is a self proclaimed conservative says 'i refuse to see that,' even though he clearly was in agreement with several of the other points in the paper. it was SO ridiculous. i HATE people like that. just because they have a different viewpoint than you does not mean everything they say is bullshit. wtf. its ridiculous.
yesterday i decided it would be a good idea for me to look cute. i had an interview with someone in the enviro policy department about writing in environmental policy, and i figured i might as well look nice. so i did the whole button up under the sweater thing, with the ribbon in my hair, and kitten heels. bad fucking idea. i have the worst blisters on my feet as a result of that idea. there were three filed with fluid, and three that hard already burst, and one of my toes randomly bled from under the nail? ouch! this morning i was at a loss as to how i should bandage them so i could wear something other than flip flops, so i put on a bandaid and neosporin and prewrap, and while i'm standing outside at the bus stop, i can feel the huge one on my pinky popping. i fondly referred to it as the tumor yesterday. it hurt, and now its gross and im pissed. moral of the story = never try and look cute.
i watched parent trap with mal and cory k yesterday. we ate peanut butter and oreos as well. oh and i totally didnt know that halley's nanny's name is Chessy! what kind of fucking name is that?! i thought it was jessie for the entirety of my life. sheesh.
diet raspberry iced tea snapple = looooove. omg.
