(no subject)
this weekend was a lot of fun. which means that february is off to a good start. which excites me beyond belief. january started off really shitty. so hopefully february will be a better month :]
friday night a bunch of us went over to clare's. we played cards for a bit, then drove up to fairlane to see the 50 thousand people waiting in line to go downtown. we eneded up in the parking lot at the hyatt, which is actually where the seahawks were staying, and i was so afraid i was going to get bitched at. but i didnt, and we went to starbucks and it was great, and then we went back to clares and pulled out the ipods and had a freaking dance party in her living room. it was uh-mazing. how often do things like that happen?!
saturday morning i went out to my cousin renee's baby shower. i had the most spectacular salad ever. pecan chicken salad with raspberry dressing with REAL raspberries in it. soooo good. i ended up winning one of the little gift baskets too. i did at kim's baby shower as well. im just lucky like that i guess ;]
satuday night vani, tony, and i went downtown for the winter-blast and superbowl festivities. which was totally not worth it. all we wanted to go was go on this huge snow slide. but it rained, and most of the slide melted so only small children under 4' could ride on it. so not cool.
and today was baby anna's christening. i love her -- shes the most adorable little baby i have ever seen. stopped at 12 oaks on the way home, picked up a polo @ aber for $13 (yay sales), and actually got asked to work at hollister. which im actually considering doing. i could really use the $$ and the discount. i just have to convince mommy. who is not excited about it at all.
superbowl was okay. i wanted the seahawks to win. though im not sure why. their quarterback was cuter? and they beat carolina who my brother told me was going to win the whole thing. commercials kind of sucked. but the only thing that really mattered was grey's anatomy.
OMG.
the most uh-mazing episode ever for excitment. i totally was shaking throughout so much of it. omfg. i cant wait for next week. i dont even know what to say it was so *jawfloor*
at least it didnt make me cry. and i guess that's a start.
