London is lovely, and my very favorite. But I'm biased; it's home. And probably my favorite place in the whole wide world, and my most complicated relationship to date. It's love/hate (mostly love) and I think we make up on a weekly basis. I think cities are like that - complicated and tempestuous and heartbreaking and brilliant and fascinatingly seductive. And irresistible. This one, to me, in particular.
I really am looking forward to seeing you. Benjamin's here right now (best friends/fake big brothers are fantastic), and I'm discovering that visitors are extremely exciting. He brought me Kraft macaroni and cheese.
Unrelated to the above, but related to your post, I was trying to drive a not-automatic car with my left hand ... not so easy! I'm not that good at it with my right hand, and then they switch everything up.
