I'm overdoing it
I really am. I thought I had to work tonight, but nope!! So, I decided to go out to the bookstore again. I was actually looking for a book for my sister, but I ended up in the art section. Ther I happened to come across some books on japanese woodblock paintings ^__^ and then one on 50's art and style. I had to but it as the cover looked pretty neat lol. I then found myself in the computer section trying to decide if I wanted to go ahead and but this wed design book, or another graphic design book. In the end I decided that I needed to work on my designing and I really needed ideas. So the design book it is! I even passed up another html book.
I;ve actualy come to relize that coding may not be my thing. I have made it work for myself quite a few times, but I am/was never pleased with my results. I'm always becoming fustrated and such, but when I am in Adobe and just messing around with brushes and paint, I'm quite fine. I feel at ease. I know now that I don't need to stress myself out with the coding. It's not ment for everyone, slthough I do feel as if I am missing out on something. I am going to really focus on my designing and improve my skills. Lol I was trying to make my own layout for my LJ but I think I'm gonna go request one, if I can bring myself to do so.
WOOOOO THE WORKERS ARE GONE...GONE!!!
*cough* Well that's what I really wanted to post. They finished the floor around noon and I must say I take back everything I said about how a wooden floor would look bad. I will have to post before and after pics because getting rid of our carpet was the best thing for the house. I am still in awe at how bright and warm our family room now looks.. So inviting! ^__^ Well that about does it for this one. I'm awake tonight so I think I might go look through my new books! I finished some more icons last night, some anime some other. I'll post those as well!
