Tired of stupid politicians

So, Here's my plug. I'd really like a say in local items so I can continue to enjoy the few parts of florida that are still nice to live in. So I will encourage anyone who is a registerd voter in FL to sign this petition to be able to put to a vote local land development plan changes.

Go here, donwload form and send in:

The land developers keep coming in, designing environmentally unfriendly designs, to squeeze every last house/apt/condo onto a plot of land to get every last cent out of it without regard for the people of the comunity. They take their money and go to the next undeveloped area and build there. They have no stake in living in an area, just taking their cash and running.

The did away with the Wetland group in Hillsborough County EPC that prevented the loss of wetlands because the Tax cuts gave them an excuse to chuck the env. regulations group. Now money is directed via the high interest rates to the war and fed gov. and to break the populace even without much fight because a lot of people are desperate, they will cut taxes that would go toward the local comunity improvements.

Florida can't keep growing forever, and when the growth drops off, the builders will pack up and go else where to build and leave the rest of Florida looking like Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. A concrete jungle that is not being maintained and has more getto than not. Where the majority is uneducated because it was priced out of living let alone affording education. Because every time a house is bought and sold in the market, the price goes up till they are not affordable.

The local boards are represented by developers and land owners who are only concerened with their ability to make millions. They are not representing the rest of the population who live with the traffic, poor school system and dying of environment which is the highlight for the "Nature Coast".

Things were so much more easier when I didn't pay attention. Too late now.
