Yeah right.
So, 6 weeks till I import a Bryan to the west coast boyze. I think anyone who might read this may be interested in a Moving, drinks and pizza party July 20 or 21st. Fear not people, we've secured a first floor apt.
The apartment is in Land O' Lakes. I know all my family in Indiana will be snickering about that for a while... He He... Butter...He He...
Off to a wedding this weekend where we will fight off Bryan's mother's attemps at tryin to simultaniously chase me off and plan out our wedding. We still say that when we decide to go through with that kind of thing we're going to send her an invite two weeks before it. could be worse, but I still want to flick her in the head every once in a while. I guess I feel the same way about my family sometimes.
Work is fine. I've got a gym membership and have been working out. Not often enough, but I'm off to a good start.
Our kitties are doing well. I think they got a cold for a little while. Shadow is so cute. I'm so glad we got him.
I have to finish up all of my application details to take the Professional Engineer Exam by the end of this month. Seems kind of silly since the Exam itself isn't till October. And yippie, then I get to sign and seal plans and take on lots of liability. I better get a good raise! It's been good so far so I'm sure it will keep on keeping on.
After the grand move it's a lengthy vacation in Sunnyish Seattle. Downtown seattle viewing, beach excursion, UW campus, seaquarium, waterfall viewing and wine tasing/eating tour, camping at Mt. Rainier. Should be a good time. Planning is a bitch when you haven't been somewhere, but it's moving along. The big goal is to get by on public transportation the whole time.
I'm taking a 19 day vacation (where seattle is only 9 of those days). It's going to be nice to finally have a real break, paid. Hurray for comp time.
