I know, I know
I never have enough time to talk to people, let alone post here on a regular basis. I AM STILL ALIVE, in case you were actually worried about that. On that note, so are my coworkers, loved ones, and cat.
We go on vacation July 25th and will be coming back on August 4th. Currently, I have six (6) days off between now (June 28) and when we leave for Maine (days working includes: work at Harbor, work at Bayview, work at UMBC, work for SEMS, and babysitting). I am working on my birthday (cue the boos), but it's ok because Jon is as well. It used to really matter to me that I not work my birthday, but it's ok. I worked it last year. The day I couldn't work last year was the day before my birthday (Sean's Birthday). If anyone wants to do anything on or around my birthday, let me know. I'm not interested in doing anything formal; maybe just having a couple of beers, watching a movie and eating some sort of takeout. It's easier to tell you what days I'm off than to tell you what days I'm working.
I'm at Bayview once or twice a month now (at Bayview right now, actually). I'm babysitting about once a week. El is moving out in August, so we'll have some extra bills to pay. Jon and I really need to be by ourselves. There are plans for the future cooking, so we really need to just have it be us (and Artemis).
On a lighter note, one class stands between me and graduation. I'm TAing a lot too (1st summer session), so that brings in some extra cash. My university bill is somewhat resolved, so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's kinda nice.
Jon is still figuring out what he wants to do. I say he can do whatever he wants, as long as he decides on something soon. He's got a lot of potential, but he just needs to decide where/how to apply it.
Oh well. I've bothered you enough. Back sometime next month!
