The missing story I regret is Shada, the one that was set in Cambridge - it was being filmed when I was a student but was never completed.

That's a shame.

Interestingly, it turns out The War Machines had to be reconstructed from censored archive footage found in Nigeria and Australia, plus a complete audio recording, and previews that had been shown on Blue Peter. That was one of the more fascinating special features I've ever watched, actually.

I've some photos of Tom Baker in a punt stored away somewhere, and I have since realised that I may have caught Douglas Adams as well, as he wrote the script.

Whoa, cool!

As far as I'm concerned only the Second, Third and Ninth Doctors are worth much, though.

Nine is still my favorite so far, but then I've only got him, Ten, and One to compare yet. Though Baker is the one I still think of first when I think of Classic Who, as that's who would come on after the kid shows on public television over here when I was a kid. Never saw an actual episode, though. My parents were convinced it was "too weird" for children. *facepalm*
