Second viewing of OotP

It was worth going to see it in IMAX, and I'm actually kind of glad I ended up doing that on the second viewing instead of the first. I already knew what I was going to see so my annoyance level with certain things was lower.

Never thought I'd see the day I'd be getting home from the movies at 4am, though.

The Cho bit made more sense this time around. Somehow I had missed Draco dragging her into the screen frame after Umbridge blasted her way into the RoR.

Caught the Levicorpus this time, both in the RoR and the DoM. That's just nuts.

Someone had said the timeline was off, so I looked for that but didn't see it. Sirius talks about how things were with LV 14 years ago, right before he went after Harry in other words. Later Sybill says she's been at Hogwarts for 16 years, since right after the prophecy. (And dude, yes it sounded like her voice, but what's with not revealing that she's the one who heard it? And not having Harry hear the whole thing?) Going by the Lexicon, that appears to be right.

Also, Sybill looked a lot tamer than she did in PoA, which was somewhat disappointing, though I suppose it made her look more bedraggled and sad when Umbridge was trying to throw her out. Though, er, wasn't she more outraged than anything? Oh well.

And Protego appears to have been changed to Protecto. Erm, why? Well, maybe it's a sound-quality thing.

Definitely worth seeing the DoM battle in 3D. And the Thestral flight. Next time I go see something in 3D, though, I'll wear my contacts. Glasses over glasses is never a comfortable thing.

I should go sleep now. I'm supposed to be at a picnic in RI in 9 1/2 hours.
