Finally read Ancient Egyptian Dances by Irena Lexova. It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was a very interesting read. I don't know that any of it would end up informing my dance, really, though.
Also started the Mage Storms trilogy with Storm Warning. It was good, and I particularly liked that it was told from a Karsite's perspective. I'm glad to see that Sun in Glory and other tales of Valdemar has come in, because I think that'll fill in some gaps.
Oathblood was a bit of a disappointment, mainly because I wasn't expecting a story collection, I was expecting another novel. Also several of the stories had already been covered in the Vows of Honor duology. The actual *story* of "Oathblood" was quite good, though. Having seen Kethry as both mercenary and grandmama, it was nice to see a bit of what she was like as a young mother, too.
Right now I'm working on No Time to Lose - A Timely Guide to the Way of the Bodhisattva by Pema Chodron. It is a good read, just takes much digesting.

Meanwhile, Patsfan is off for his semi-annual return to adolescence, and I'm doing that thing where I try to revamp the apartment in his absence. I'm so tired today, though, that I'm kinda just looking at piles o' stuff and saying "eh, yes, but that can't be tossed, so wtf am I going to do with it?" But then I find stuff that can be tossed. And by the end of the week, my definition of tossable will be substantially wider.
We. Have. Too. Much. Crap.
He has bunches of photos that I've been putting into albums. I asked what he'd like done with the negatives, since, you know, it's extremely unlikely we'll ever want to duplicate any, and if we do, there's scanners and stuff these days. No, he wants them saved. They're getting shoved in a shoebox-sized plastic thing, stuck on a shelf in the cellar, and good luck to him finding a specific one if he actually wants it.
