Yet another Ludlum. Well, it fit into my pocket better for handy reading in lines and waiting rooms. This one was actually written before any of the others, I gather, and under another name, because it was inspired by the Watergate crisis. I think I like when he does espionage better than when he does government insider intrigue, but it was still a good read.

If a bit dated. When stealing a computer database, one no longer needs several briefcases full of perforated cards. That was a treat to read.

I also do find myself wondering if he had some specific conglomerate in mind when he created the spectre of Genessee Industries, and if so, what that would be and whether it is still part of the military-industrial complex today.
