OWWWWW. *****MOAN****

Dude. Yesterday Steve & I went to Six Flags with Josh Brown and Sara. I hurt. My head is all jostle-y, my arms hurt, my legs hurt. We left the house at 9am didn't get home till 11 and I'm f'n exhausted. We went on every ride in the freakin' park. We got one of the 4 person "fast passes" which even at $50 was TOTALLY worth it. I grumbled HARDCORE when we were paying for it but when we were flying by 2 hour long lines, I was a happy happy girl. If we hadn't got it, we would've gone on no rides, been sunburnt and miserable.

(I personally wore SPF 30 and only got a little red on my shoulders and nose, so I did good..)

We were going to meet Josh & Sara at the park at 10am but we ended up seeing each other on the highway and just followed each other in. Which was nice 'cause then we were able to park next to each other for lunch.

I packed a huge picnic lunch so we didn't have to spend money on lunch which was good. (I made italian grinders with salami, ham & pepperoni, lettuce & cheese and seperately packed tomatos, oil & vinegar in little tupperware things; that dill potato salad, macaroni salad, grapes, gatorade....Steve made fun of me but by 2pm when we were STARVING I was so happy I packed so much food..)

We rode more rides until 6:30 and then got hungry again, so we played some games (I won myself a VERY soft bear) and were going to get dinner in the park but the prices were OBSCENE. (Um $6 for a tiny beer and $9 for 5 chicken fingers???) so we asked guest services for some suggestions and they had directions to a Pub 99. Awesome. So we did that and then just as we were leaving the restaurant the sky opened up. So the timing was wonderful. And we've determined that Sara's bridesmaids are wearing periwinkle blue gowns in any style as long as they're long. Which is awesome. We talked about the wedding so much I thought Steve's head was going to fall off.

The rest of the weekend was good too. AM's barbecue was a wicked good time. I made ribs, dill potato salad and an incredible blueberry pecan crumble. And none of them were toxic. Shocking. :o)

And with the heart thing I'm not supposed to be drinking coffee but this morning I couldn't do it. I have a large hazelnut and it tastes Sooooo good. :op

Speaking of the heart thing, I went in for blood work on Thursday. I HATE needles but the guy taking my blood was no more then 26 and wicked cute. And he told me I had great veins. So I had to at least pretend to be adult about it. (I did cover my eyes though. Which he said was "really cute" before asking for my number :op )

Today has to go quickly. I feel like I'm going to pass out at my desk

heart, josh brown, anne marie, weekend
