So, as it turns out, Monday was so bad because the flu was starting. Tuesday & Wednesday I was home sick. I couldn't even move. Every time I stood up I got dizzy. Horribleness.
Monday night I got home from work (ps. shouldn't have been on the highway, I was falling asleep) and checked my temp, it was only 99.5 which isn't too bad so I just went to sleep. Woke up at 9 for 24 and checked it again, it was 101.5. Fun. Went back to sleep.
Cassie came and made dinner on Tuesday night which super nice of her, except that I got her sick. Wednesday I was feeling better and was bored so we went to D'Angelo's for lunch...I was totally fine until we got in the D'Angelo's and I was standing for a while. Got wicked hot, thought I was going to vomit and had to sit down. Not such a good idea after all.
ANYWAY.
I didn't really talk too much about the wedding. I got to Amherst, found the hotel that Steve & I were staying at, checked in, started changing so I'd be ready for when Steve got there so we could go. He showed up and as it turns out he had to go early to take pictures with the wedding party so I couldn't really go with him...He's known about this whole thing for over 6 months and he was the one who made me go...so he couldn't figure something out for me?
In the last three minutes as he was running out the door he goes "You should call Trey and see if you can go with him." Thanks.
Met up with Trey (who luckily, went to the wedding at all and luckily, didn't already have a date) and we headed to the church together. Outside, I helped the groomsmen with their boutenieres (ouch, spelling?) and Trey & I tooled around until it was time to go in. Had some fun conversations in the church pew and basically made fun of the groomsmen, the pastor and each other through most of it.
The reception, when people got there, was a lot of fun. Actually, it was fun before people got there, I just felt awful because I literally knew NO ONE except for Trey and so I was kind of his shadow. We took a couple of laps around the room and I made up for being annoying by buying him drinks. Good deal.
At any rate, it was a decent time. I got drunk, we all danced like crazy and the bride & groom looked like they had fun too. :o)
And it's Friday night and I'm bored out of my mind. Good stuff.
