It's gotta be the weather...
'cause oh my Lord I need a nap... No joke kids, I'm gonna fall asleep at my desk. This is ridiculous.
Last night was fun...The traffic on the way home was just absurd, so I stopped at Julio's Liquors in Westboro to browse their wine selection. I picked out a nice Chianti and headed home.
I got pulled over for running the stop sign at the end of my exit. The cop took my license & registration and asked me what was in the brown paper bag. I said "A chianti, do you want to come over for dinner?" To which he wittily replied, "No thanks, I've seen Silence of the Lambs." He told me that it was ok, not to do it again, and then he said "Anyway, I don't think your boyfriend would really like it if I came over for dinner..."
And as I rolled up my window I said, "No...I don't think he would..." And went home.
Made dinner for abyss327 and Steve which was yummy and then Cassie made us dessert. As dessert was finishing, Trey & Erica stopped by with The Day After Tomorrow which was absolutely horrible. The effects were great but it was just so cheesy...And Cassie was right, the wolves were the worst part...The mammoth in the museum was flash frozen, but the wolves are ok??? Huh? But I guess that was the least of the weirdness...So, it was a good time, dinner with the two people I love best, and then a fun movie with Trey, Erica, Cassie, Steve and Chianti.
Good night. But I'm very sleepy...quick nap is definitely in order.
