(no subject)
So..it's been a couple of days...but they've been fun days...it's 1am and I"m not even remotely tired..but we'll get to that...
Christmas was awesome...I already got my major present which was the CD player in my car but then I got my very own Platypus suit (which if you want to know about you'll have to call or IM me), Egg Waves (this cute contraption that lets you make eggs in the microwave, a technicolor blue George Foreman grill and a phat yellow Old Navy performance fleece from my aunt..along with gift certificates and shit and an awesome new naval ring from my sister that I think I'm going to go have put in tomorrow...
so Christmas was fun..even more so because Jon Little called me again and asked if I wanted to go up to Tiverton, but I couldn't 'cause I had to stay and help clean up and shit..and after that my mom, dad, sister and I started to play Trivial Pursuit for some reason when Josh Brown stopped by and joined in and then got very upset when I beat him at Monopoly two hours later...:) he sucks.. :)
Also, oddly enough..this has been the weekend for seeing people that I really never thought I would talk to ever again in my life but I'm happy I am..Nick Barnes from high school called and ironically he's at WPI at Lambda Chi..so that's strange..and Kenny DiBattista who I went with to his senior prom even though he's two years older than me I saw on Thayer Street and he said he would call me...so it's been quite the week for meeting people I haven't seen in forever.
Josh Belliveau left and we never actually went out and did anything..he stopped by the house but we really have nothing left to talk about..we've grown really far apart and we just don't relate like we used to...that's ok..I'm fine with that...I'm not still in love with him or anything but it's just weird when you look at someone you spent so much time with and realize that you no longer have ANYTHING at all in common.
And tonight..I drove up to Jon Little's house and he was awesome..we chilled, he made me an incredible dinner and we watched a couple of movies and when we left in his car to go find somewhere to be...another funny story..this one not involving a bit about a dog..but call or IM for this one too..it's amusing..
So things are good..I'm really interested in Jon..I think he's awesome..he's a lot of fun and he's just an incredible person.
Anyway.. I'll end just by saying that maybe, just maybe, God will smile down and say "Beth, I grant to you a male who is not an asshole that actually likes you a lot and wants more than just a hookup" I would be happy...thrilled actually. anyway..I'm in a good mood so I'll end on that...see ya...
