I'M A GROWN UP!
I just moved into my own apartment today. It's sooo amazing. These are the main things I'm super excited about:
- I don't have to "check in" because my roommates are worried about me and what time I'm gonna come home. (Lame)
- I get my balcony back...no more being constricted to my room 'cause people are sleeping in the living room & I'd wake them up with the sliding door.
- I can make breakfast anytime I want...and smoothies!!! without fearing I'll wake someone up.
- I won't have anyone bitching at me about the temperature in the apartment...
- I won't have anyone moving my loofa 'cause they don't like where it hangs in the shower.
- I won't have anyone effing BLEACHING my towels and LYING about it.
- No more having to tell someone who's coming over and when (and then not doing the same for me)
- I won't be kept up until 2 in the morning because roommates are playing guitar and singing on a Thursday night.
- I won't be kept up until 3 in the morning because roommates talk loudly on the phone on the balcony RIGHT outside my bedroom window.
- I can be hyper and giggly without being told to be "considerate" of neighbors.
- I won't have to worry about anyone stealing my shot glasses for their drunken nights.
- I won't have to worry about getting arrested because other lease holders are smoking marijuana on our property.
- I'll be able to bring people home and INTO my apartment and they'll actually want to come in.
- I won't have to worry about roommates racking up bills and making me pay 1/3 whether I used it or not.
- I can leave the apartment without getting texts saying, "Where'd you go?"
- I can sleep in peace, without hearing whispers of words behind my back from the living room.
- I can live my life, without the fear of having my stuff stolen or jacked when I move out.
- I can decorate EVERY room however the eff i want!!! :)
Living room/Dining Room - Black and red, with accents of zebra print and New York City stuff :)
Bedroom - Undecided... my friend Olivia is making me a painting with cool blue hues so something along those lines!!
Kitchen - also undecided... ideas, anyone?
