The Fire
I had me some fun Thursday morning/wednesday night night.
We had a 3 alarm Building Fire.
It was me and my captain on the hoze line. i had the nozzle. We crawled pretty far in. All i could see was smoke. my captain said it was above us. So i sprayed the cieling for a little. We fought it the best we could till we ran out of water. Then we backed out. I talk to my Captain later and he told me that the red flames were rolling over our heads. I had no idea. i knew it was hot in there, the hairs on the back of my neck were startin to burn, and i could hear the fire above us, but all i saw was the thick gray smoke.
About 5 minutes after we evacuated, the roof collasped. Lucky us.
I love my job.
