(no subject)
Well, Stanford deferred me, which sucks, but I suppose it could be worse. Mostly I'm surprised because Stanford's policy is to defer as few students as possible. However, in the long run that could be a good thing because it means that I have a very good chance of getting in regular decision, or they would have rejected me. Anyways, I thought I would post this for the benefit of anyone who's interested, and also so that I can avoid having to answer the same question a hundred times in school tomorrow. Congrats to everyone who did get in, including Maddie and Sarah; I'm so happy for you. Now I must go back to my neverending pile of unfinished college essays (7,WTF?!?!).
