happy easter
i always have mixed feelings about easter cuz ive had some bad easters in the past. of course, im not really a holiday person in general, they tend to make me a little depressed, but the thing with easter is it mixes alot of elements that can be good or bad. First there's church, which is never my favorite thing in the world, but can sometimes be pretty ok. in contrast it can also be really awful. today it was alright, and i got a flower from the alter thats all pretty, but then i also had to run around serving people at the little brunchy thing afterward and spending my money to buy people milk for their coffee. it kinda balanced out in the end cause laurel was there and shes nice and we didnt have to stay too long. After that we went to PopPop and Kathie's house which also has the potential to be very good or awful. Today it was fine because i met the new tenants from england who were very interesting and they sort of interrupted the usual family dynamic which was a nice change. There was less candy than usual, which was actually a blessing because it meant that i didnt make myself sick on it like i usually do, but it was disappointing at the time. I got home at about 4:30 and took a long nap, and now im supposed to be doing homework and working on the Day of Silence thing, but im just too lazy. ill probably start it at ten and be up all night as usual. The good news is, i only have about 3 1/2 days of school this week, and then comes april break and all things good.
