I like holiday rushes. Except for when I'm trying to shop in them all and I'm being mowed down everywhere I go. Cam and I put aside our entire Saturday to go out to Exton and shop, shop, shop. She got GAP jeans, and a pair of gloves, and this UBER cute black and green jacket with "Ireland" on it. I HAVE to post a pic. I'm so stealing it from her. That was just her birthday gift card shopping. I got my PotC travel mug--WAHOO! FINALLY!--which is serving me well, and then we set off to find gifts. I got Lisamarie's and Megan's, $31 value together and I paid..............ZILCH. That's right, I got Meg's $21 body scrub for free because Cam oh-so-generously gave me her birthday card from Aveda, entitling her to a free product, and the woman at Carlton Cards gave me Lisa's pillow for free because her register couldn't do a split transaction. How freakin' NICE!!
We were also shopping for the final pieces for the wedding, which we're making our father buy, DUH. But while in Charlotte Russe I saw this shirt that said

and they were all crossed out and then "being single" was at the bottom again, it was so cute. And also very freaky because, in backwards order, that's me, except for Steve, but watch me get a boyfriend named Steve now that I say that. Weird. I want it. Hehe. I'm also determined to get a tee with I *heart* long-haired guys on it, and an I *heart* Mordred one as well. WAHA. I'm gonna' ask Diana if she can do that.
Went to Chik-Fil-A righto? Yes, and saw Extremely Hot Guy At CFA there. So naturally started for his register before Cam gasped and realized that he was the one she told off not so long ago. She pleads that he had short hair before so it doesn't count. I agree. Growing your hair is a perfectly satisfactory apology. Asking her sister out would ensure him no hostility. MwaHA! Anyway, I got a kick out of that, and went over anyway, and got a much nicer reception than Cam did, LOL. Course I refrained from giving him the change to even out the bill due to what happened to her, but still. In fact he gave me a warmer reception than anyone their has ever given me, and when I thought it was all in my head (I can't help it), we were walking away and Cam squealed "He liiiiiiiiiikes YOU! He thinks your cuuute! You should ask him out, he'd say yes!" Cue me squealing, that made my day, and then scoffing that I don't even have a car to get there. Besides, hello, don't know his name, being that, again, the CoolRule applies that if you are "cool" (for lack of a better word), you remain mysterious. Again, I need to pay more attention to that. And I have to find out if he's got a girlfriend. I'm so happy I'm FREE again! *spreads arms*
I'm also back to being fine with being single *points to above stories* as the shirt says, because there are many longer-haired guys to tackle and I can now do so without thinking about Mark. Congratulate me.
Worked with Nicole yesterday, which wasn't as tedious as it normally is. But we had fun after work, as we always do in the 15 mins. it takes to take the deposit. It's so weird that she makes a better friend than manager. She's so...professional at work, and well, you know that Jasmine and. Professional don't go in the same sentence. And yes, I put that period there just so you can't say that they did.
I dropped off little Marky's gift today, and I have to catch big Marky so I can bug him as to what the heck he wants for Christmas, and then I have to get Lynn's and part of Bob/April's gift this weekend, along with boots for my wedding outfit. *deep breath* MAYBE, just MAYBE I'll be in less of a panic this year 2 days before Christmas.
I think it was a mistake to leave my hair down *cue howling wind and wild curls*.
So, gonna' work with Lynn and Dawn-Marie tonight, I can't stand the way DM smells, but I'll be happy as a squirrel to work with Lynn again. We haven't worked together in a long time.
