Leanne and I have the same last name and the same middle name, and our first names sound alike if you're not paying attention, which is why we used to get away with library fines in high school all the time. And yes, she did live directly across the street. Worse, her family had their address in the phone book and mine did not, which meant that all my friends called her house at least once.
