I remember the first time i really realized it... my brother got in trouble with the law (again) amd i broke down crying because everything was just too much to handle. David was there and he sat down with me and held me till i stopped, wiping my tears away and kissing my forehead or cheek softly because i kept turning away from him (i don't like people seeing me cry, it's not very pretty) but no matter how many times i turned away, he stayed there, rocking me or holding me and i remember how good it felt to be held when i needed him. THAT'S what a prince should try to do. *nods*
