Today is the last final day of April I will spend in the PNW for the next four years. Probably. That's a little crazy. Less importantly, the last Wednesday I will be able to braid my hair, let alone put it in a bun, for a very long time. Exciting! Thanks to Facebook now having a chat thing, I was able to talk to my brother in law for a while tonight. I miss them a lot, and may not see them before college, so it was nice touching base with E.L.
I had a truly special vocal experience today - I got to have my lesson in front of my teacher's music pedagogy class at PSU (she had to demonstrate a class) - and I was able to channel the nerves I felt from that into air support and control. It was glorious!
Ooh, and translating the music for my senior project... sorta failing. There's a line that I could have sworn meant "farewell to unsafe socks", but which freetranslation.com insists means "farewell to dependable bad little sidewalks". Go figure.
And I have to say, I am loving rehearsals. completely.
