The universe has a twisted sense of humor

I have been stuck on a scene for nearly a week. I FINALLY figure out what I want to do with it, start getting it put together how I want it, and am making great progress ... then, comes the migraine. I haven't quite descended into the pits of hell yet and I take some painkillers.  I successfully head off the skull-splitting, eye-gouging pain and start to feel moderately okay again.  Then, the pills are working a little too well.

I am now high as a kite, folks.  Yup.  So much for writing!  Maybe I'll try again in the morning.  Well ... at least I'm happy about it ...  *she slurs*
