I got caught up in the number thing going around on Facebook today, thanks to
kickstand75. Figured I'd share it with everybody while I was at it. ;-)
1. I’m 33, about to be 34 in January, and I’m discovering that the lines on my face don’t bother me. Grey hair does.
2. I’m the youngest girl in a brood of seven (5 girls, 2 boys). The only one I got to pick on was my little brother and, believe it or not, I carry around guilt because of all the times I whacked him upside the head or made his food touch on the plate because he hated it. Terrible, terrible sister …
3. I don’t have a favorite color, favorite song, favorite movie, favorite food, or anything like that. How on Earth are you supposed to choose just one?
4. I have never been dumped.
5. I didn’t date a lot of guys, but I dated enough. Most I’ve lost track of, a few became friends. I’ve been in love twice and married only once, and that’s enough for me.
6. I can’t wear socks to bed. It’s smothering. And don’t even get me started on the pillow over the face thing.
7. It is not uncommon for me to hit my shoulder on the wall as I move from one room to another. Apparently, I think the walls should move for me and not the other way around. This a problem my siblings also suffer from I think.
8. I also think uncooperative inanimate objects will work better once they’ve been smacked around a few times. It works for me.
9. I have four kids who think I’m funny. I. AM. NOT. FUNNY. I’m a very serious person. They also never listen to me.
10. I play piano. I teach. I ride horses. I write. I sing. But I do none of them professionally. So until my first book is published (someday, somehow), my only professional title is Mom. And I’m okay with that.
11. I think my boss is secretly scared of me.
12. I love to drive. Don’t care about the distance. Give me an iPod, CD player, whatever, and an open road, and I’m there.
13. I love my eyes. They barely work and, without the advent of glasses and/or contacts, I’d be stumbling around life practically blind, but they’re green and they’re mine.
14. I love to cook, but don’t do it as often as I’d like. I HATE to clean, but I do it all the time.
15. I’m about to become an aunt again. Today. I’m excited.
