(no subject)
Hello everybody. I felt like writing so here I am. Yesterday's ride was the worst. It was hot and windy and blah. We took Jefferson the whole way and it was tiring. I rocked at Windmill Pointe. Cory seems to think I came in tenth but I think he's dellusional. But I did go pretty fast. I was swerving in and out of people and passing them. It was awesome. It was Uncle Russ' bday, he rescued me on Lakeshore because he's awesome. This is why I like Uncle Russ. (sounds like a first grade paper: "Who is your favorite person and why?")
Also yesterday it was my first day on the job at the dry cleaners. Well actually it was more training than working but I'm getting paid for it! I got to help a few customers and do a few behind-the-scenes jobs. Eric D. got hired with me so I'll be working with him. We officially start on Monday and I think I get Wednesdays off. It's awesome, they're pretty lenient with the schedule so since I'm part time I got to choose my hours and they'll see how they can work around it. I don't think my boss is a really scary guy just really serious which makes him scary. And he gets really really angry when you mess up because a mistake costs them a lot of money. Usually mistakes like that are really stupid like leaving a pen in the wash or writing down the wrong name thus losing the clothes. I'm pretty meticulous when working for money and dealing with other people's things so I'm not really worried.
Tonight is graduation!!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be very hot in those robes. My brother better come. He said he would but he also said that about my fifth grade graduation and he didn't come to that. It broke my heart.... I didn't speak to him for months. So he better come this time! I'll call him to make sure he is. I'm not really looking forward to the All Night Party. I don't do well spending the whole night up because then I feel like I'm wasting the next day. :( I plan on spending half of Friday asleep and then the other half watching movies and TV.
So life seems to be good now. It was frustrating for a second but then I got over it. Oh! Grand Valley, duh! I forgot. Sunday and Monday I spent up at GVSU for orientation. I spent the night in the dorms and someone else was supposed to be there with me but never showed up. I was too scared to stay there by myself so I made my mom sleep there with me. haha. I met a couple girls at orientation who were really cool, they'll be fun to hang out with this year. I have a kick-ass schedule: Early days starting with Elementary Japanese 9-9:50 Monday thru Thursday, Asian Civilizations 3-6 on Mondays and Wednesdays, Intro to Psych 1-2:15 Tuesdays and Thursdays. w00t Fridays off! If I wanted to come home I leave after my last class on Thursday after 2:30!!!!!!! That rocks! My next semester is a bit more complicated but this semester rocks. I plan on doing everything because I am motivated and excited and can't wait!
