Bittersweet
So he won. And I'm excited.
Though I have to admit, I can't help but be disappointed and discouraged by Prop. 8. It has all but passed, and unless a miracle happens, it will pass.
I'm giving myself one day to be sad about it. Starting tomorrow, I'll be looking at the bright side, enjoying the idea of Barack Obama as president.
I don't think one man can fix everything. There are things I disagree with him about. But I'm happy he was elected, and for the first time in my adult life, I have some pride in my country.
