I am loved!
My life has been a whirlwind of stress and sadness of late but I push that off for another time to celebrate how much I am loved! Friday I shared my birthday with windrider67 who is undoubtedly the kindest, most wonderful human being on this earth! My life would never be complete without her. She is my twin and for that I am grateful every day of my life!
I had songs and wishes from my friends and family which filled me with happiness and warmfuzzies. My sis and I went to Newport on Sat for an overnight stay at the Hotel Viking. Tea was had and a dip in the hottub/pool.Then we had this most incredible exfoliation treatment that was purly nirvanic (not sure if that is a word but it should be). Following this we ended up in this small bistro walking distance from the hotel, it was restaraunt week (who knew) and the hotels restaurant was full up, that was absolutly charming. The food was incredible, the wait staff awesome and for our birthdays we got a complimentary HOMEMADE BAILEYS! It was just splendiferous! I have never had a beverage taste quite this yummy!
We had complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and truffles from the hotel for our birthday as well and the company could not have been better :) We laughed and enjoyed!
Once we woke up and I had some fruit filled crepes for breakfast we headed out. When we got home my fabulous husband and house mate had made a party for us worth praising. Everything was planned, set up and handled. We had people to the house and we were surrounded by family, friends and kids. I could not have been happier :) To have everyone there to share our entry to a new era was incredible. I cant even tell you how much it meant to me.
