(no subject)
I just finished reading 1984. Possibly the scariest and most depressing book i have ever read. It took ( i kid you not) 2 weeks to get through the first 50 pages, then 3 days to get through the other 270ish pages. It started to slow again towards the end but i persevered and its done. thank god.
Now i have to read Sophie's World. And possibly my study guide for my first unit... yay for being a student. I have to learn how to write an essay now...
i'm really looking forward to studying all these philosphers & psychologists whose names i can't pronounce... Nietszche for example. I can't even spell his name... let alone say it. I've heard Neach-ee and Nitch (like a sneeze). the good thing about correspondence is i don't have to say it out loud. Only one semester of that and then the really interesting international stuff kicks in.
I'm addicted to "How To" books and Wikis. How to write an essay the night before... How to make a mind map... How to study etc etc.
Ooooh i get my new lap top tomorrow. After my recent blogging success i'm going to crack on with the blogs.
Think i may re-write my 43 things list too...
