His inaugural address was dignified, but passionate. The commentators on CNN were saying that it was a "hard" speech, and explicitly rejected some of the positions of the Bush administration, more than is apparently traditional. I say, "Good." Mr. and Mrs. Obama did show respect and graciousness to the outgoing administration - I liked how they escorted Mr. and Mrs. Bush to the waiting helicopter.
And it's a good thing we got that multipack of Kleenex from Costco - between the tears and the cold I've got, I needed plenty of them.
