Non-monogamy survey

Nov 23, 2012 15:40

In my capacity as the web wrangler of www.polyamory.org I got the following message asking for help in passing the word about a survey for people who are in "swinging relationships, polyamorous relationships and/or open relationships." I checked it out a little bit and it seems to be legit. A link to the survey is at the end of this message. We are part of a collaborative group of researchers in the Psychology Departments at the University of Kansas (Dr. Barb Kerr?\200\231s research lab) and the University of Michigan (Dr. Terri Conley?\200\231s research lab). We are inquiring to see if you could help us recruit for our current study about the experiences of individuals in [swinging relationships, polyamorous relationships and/or open relationships]. As it is often difficult to find a sufficient amount of research participants from such populations, we often reach out to individuals plugged into the community to help reach out and share our survey.

Our current project is the beginning of an ongoing research effort to understand more about the community of individuals who engage in consensual, nonexclusive intimate and sexual relationships. Respondent will be asked questions about his/her relationship(s), perceptions of consensual non-monogamy, attitudes toward romantic relationships, and general experiences in their relationship(s). This survey is completely anonymous and the respondents are free to exit the survey at any time. This survey takes most people 20-30 minutes to complete. For more information, please click the link and read over the consent form.
