I spent a lot of time over the past couple of days playing a casual game called
Tradewinds: Legends. (Link is to the PC version but it is also available for the Mac, which is how I played it.) It's a trading sim, and you can also choose to play it as an RPG of sorts, by accepting quests. I liked it partly because some of the dialogue is funny, but primarily because of the four pre-designed characters you can choose, two are women and one is an older woman. You can also design your own character, choosing among several ethnic groups and even different body types (you can't explicitly choose body types, but if you click "profile" after designing a character, the images include different body types).
Drawback is that it's not exactly challenging gameplay, unless you deliberately choose to handicap yourself. But I found it engrossing.
