The Things You Learn about Yourself

Jul 27, 2012 15:42

I was in Secaucus NJ for most of the week for a training seminar on tax software.  It was as exciting as it sounds.  But it's often in moments like these when you learn something about yourself that surprises you, that redefines who you are as a person.  I had such a moment of self discovery in Secaucus.

I don't like Pepsi.

I always knew I preferred Coke, but I thought I was okay with Pepsi.  That is, in fact, not true.  I really don't like it.  Yuck.

And for all you people who are loyal to Pepsi (and I know you're out there, I've run into quite a few), I'm not judging you.  This only means there's more Pepsi for you.

On an unrelated topic, last night I had a dream where I was trying to get Michael Rosenbaum to take a class with me on Norse Mythology taught by Stephen King.  He wasn't all that interested, although he didn't say no.  I'm sure if I delve into the symbolism of the dream I'll discover something else new about myself, but the Pepsi thing is mind blowing enough.  I'm going to let this one slide.
