Time once again for a Season 5 episode BtS picspams

Hypnotic, No BtS pics for Void - Life is doubly cruel
This is, unfortunately, a small BtS installment. I blame Void for that. If Void wasn’t devoid of BtS pictures I could have combined it with Fragile and Mercy. Then this would’ve been a decent size picspam.
First off is…
Fragile
Remember back to the spring of 2006. The big news about the episode Fragile was that 1.) Lex and Lana were going to kiss and 2.) Tom Welling was making his directorial debut. The promotional stills released for the episode mirror this news. They’re only from one scene (and usually episode stills cover two maybe even three scenes), the scene where Lex and Lana kiss and they include 5 pictures of Tom Welling directing.
Tom Welling gives direction to Michael Rosenbaum and Kristin Kreuk
Then he watches the scene being shot
I believe the woman sitting next to Tom is Mairzee Almas, first assistant director for the episode. She has gone on to direct 8 (so far) episodes of Smallville, her first being Nemesis. Her most recent was Supergirl
I like to mentally place myself in this picture, right in front of Mr. Welling, facing him. But to make everything line up the way I’d like I have to be about 4” taller than I actually am.
I don’t know what it is about this picture (perhaps it’s because his shirt looks so soft) but when I look at it all I want to do, in a very respectful manner, is rub the side of my face against his tummy.
Moveing on to…
Mercy
Only two BtS picture from this episode
Clark and Lex discover a video link to Lionel and Martha’s kidnapping
I get the feeling this picture captured Michael Rosenbaum in mid joke.
A scene from Lionel Luthor’s Office
John Glover talks with director James Marshall.
And that’s it for Fragile and Mercy. If you have other behind the scenes pictures from these episode (or maybe from Void) I’d love to see them.
Up next: Fade... and it’s going to be a good one.
