Right, so I got laid off a week ago. I've spent a lot of time since applying to Geek Squad. Because even though there's just one website listing all Geek Squad, you have to fill out an individual application for each store. This means I have to try to remember how I filled out the 99 question personality test each time. Technology :rolls eyes:
A friend asked for my resume to give to a colleague, so I emailed it to her, and she responded asking if I had examples of "projects" I had done. I have no idea what that means. I fixed computers at my old job. Unless you consider each computer fixed a "project", so I guess I've done thousands of projects?
I'm assuming what she means is that I should change "Deskside support and hardware repair" to "troubleshoot and resolving problematic technical electronics" or some such nonsense, because clear and concise descriptions are apparently a no-no when it comes to resumes.
I'm hoping she's not asking if I've ever "implemented" anything, as I'm not even sure what that word means. In fact, the more I roll it around in my head, the more meaningless it becomes. Has anyone ever actually implemented anything? I'm gonna go implement a sandwich, and think about this.
