Man, this place is worse than Seattle. You think it'd calm down or something, but... whatever. I guess it keeps things exciting. And slightly unpredictable.

Gemma, I'm going out for a bit. You need me to stop anywhere to get you anything?

Thank you kindly, but no, Master Hannibal. I am quite alright at the moment.

You're sure? It wouldn't be any trouble.

... Well, if you insist. Perhaps some tea would be nice, if you happen to come across any.

I'll check the store nearby. They have a ton of random things. I don't see why they wouldn't have tea.

How are you holding up, anyway? I know this place can be kind of... uh. You know. Creepy.

Thank you, Master Hannibal.

Ah.. I have been in worse, I assure you. An adventure is always good for one, after all.

Typically. Though I prefer the type of adventures where I kind of keep breathing. You know, the sort where I keep all my bones and refrain from getting my face kicked in. Hopefully this one won't have a grim ending.

... And, listen, about the "Master Hannibal" thing... You really don't have to refer to me by "master." Hannibal or King is perfectly okay. But I don't want to stomp all over your customs or anything.

People do make faerie tale endings look so easy when they are most certainly not. However, I believe this adventure shall turn out alright.

Ah... my apologies. It has been, in the most eloquent way I can put it, drilled into my mind basically since birth. I shall try my best though, if that is what you wish.

Mmhm. We'll be fine, I'm sure. As long as we don't... go wandering into any dark alleys any time soon.

I don't want to--I mean, you can--

... Ah. How about you just call me whatever makes you most comfortable?

Dark alleys shall be avoided at all costs, I assure you.

... Mm. You are quite the gentleman, Master Hannibal.

And I think we should steer clear of hooded figures. With long, pointy objects. Just to be safe.

Oh, I bet you say that to all the boys.

I've no objections to that, either.

Only the ones that make me smile.

I think we're all set, then.

Well, you know. Smiling keeps the cold away. What kind of jackass would I be if I didn't have us both smiling?

... A very cold one, that's what.

Indeed. Actually, I've found some blankets. They're free of holes, and quite cozy if I do say so myself.
