Unlike the others, it's not out of some noble purpose or try to to push it back, or even because he's all that godly. Nope. He just wants to kick it. Why? BECAUSE IT IS THERE. And if he's going to die by being crushed by a moon with some unknown vengeance, he wants to at least say he kicked it.
