Too old is when the youth decide they don't want you around anymore.

Why do they get to decide?

Because they're the only ones who decide that people get too old for things. I suppose you could also decide for yourself, but there's little fun in that.

Ah of course. So your method is asking a random kid? [Obviously amused.]

More like any kid involved in what you're doing. But that works almost as well.

So then it doesn't matter if you're doing something alone?

In that case, I don't see why anyone else's opinion should matter.

What are you worried about?

Oh, I'm not. I just find some of my enthusiasm for certain things is a little waned.

This is more due to a shift in the company I'm keeping of late however.

I wouldn't say that's a product of being too old. [ He giggles. ] But that might just be me.

You never know. Could be proof that in your old age, you no longer find certain things so entertaining.

Or it could just be that without certain people, some things are really annoying. One or the other.

I'd bet it's a little of both. Still, there's hardly an age limit on any of that.

A valid point indeed. So do you still find yourself as entertained by most things?

That depends on quite a bit. Some things are just as amusing as they've ever been. Others, not.

Which things bore you now?
