Because they're the only ones who decide that people get too old for things. I suppose you could also decide for yourself, but there's little fun in that.

Oh, I'm not. I just find some of my enthusiasm for certain things is a little waned.
This is more due to a shift in the company I'm keeping of late however.

You never know. Could be proof that in your old age, you no longer find certain things so entertaining.
Or it could just be that without certain people, some things are really annoying. One or the other.
