Milts Coffee Shop
So I was on the quest for Bakerfield's best tuna melt. I ordered one at Happy Jack's last month and it was really good except I don't like hard boiled egg in my tuna. So for me, it is not the best tuna melt. I have been loving the tuna melt at Luis Burgers on white lane as well as the one at Golden Ox also on white lane. I decided to look up where other Bakersfieldians liked to get their tuna melts and I saw some people were raving about the tuna melt at Milts Coffee Shop. So I had to try it today for lunch. This tuna melt has a lot of good qualities. Number one being that it has onions. Number two, it has swiss cheese, which makes it different from most tuna melts I have tried. Number three, and this one is crucial, the tuna gets a little bit blackened from the grilling process. Freaking awesome! The verdict, however, is this is still not the best tuna melt in town, although it might be one of the healthiest, because the tuna was a little bit dry for me. I would get it again though!
