Inglourious Basterds: A+

Inglourious Basterds may just be my new favorite movie. *___* It has amazing plot twists, fantastic (cannot emphasize this enough) acting, great dialogue (almost all in French and German!), spiffy outfits (I'm still weak in the knees for a mass of guys in uniforms ;A;), and some of the best character development I've seen in recent movies. I . LOVE. THIS. MOVIE!!!

It also made me dream about being murdered by Nazis. :/ You know a movie is well done when it's not very gory, it's not about ghosts or vampires and yet scares the living daylights out of you .The suspense during the arcs where the Nazis come close to finding/figuring out whom the protagonists are just made me cover my face and cower as I watched it.

Man, I haven't been truely scared for characters like that in so long. It's actually... refreshing, as movies go. ^^;

Also, I'm so, SO jealous of all the European actors they hired for this movie. ESPECIALLY Austrian actor Christoph Waltz, whom plays the main Nazi. He's been nominated for a ton of awards due to this movie and may very well get an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Being, you know, Austrian, he speaks fluent French, English and German and switches effortlessly between all three throughout the movie. Most of the other actors speak fluently in two of the languages above, so it was really cool to see so Germans speaking French and Frenchmen speaking German.

Also, the British "Basterd" is played by an actor from the movie 300 (whom looks damn fine in AND out of uniform ^_-) and I just assumed he was always British, but after I looked him up, I found out he was actually German-born and speaks fluent German. Which would explain all his German dialogue. I really, really liked him. XD

And yes, for people that were wondering, the rumors are true. This entire movie just OVERLOADS with various versions of Ludwig's outfit. 8D *geeks out*

UUUUGH It makes me feel like a terrible person for loving those Nazi uniforms. ;A;

Awesome 300 actor on left and the (German) actress that played Helen of Troy in Troy. (I KNEW they both looked familiar!)

People say that this dress will be raised to cult status soon. I would NOT be surprised. 8D It's such a badass dress that both matches the Nazi flag AND screams defiance at it at the same time.
