I have no shame in saying that 3-D crafts are NOT my speciality.

So I finally attempted to make Hei's mask last night. MAN, let me tell you my adventures... T^T

Plan A. - FAILED. I made a wire mesh form on my face and then put clay over it. That failed MISERABLY, even after I took the time to get the mesh to fit to my face and everything. Scuptamold does not stick to anything relatively metallic, even if it's just light aluminum with a ton of holes. It just slid right off. ><;

Plan B. - Maybe? Use the white mask that I bought at a party store as a base. Unfortunately, the mask is a bit too small for me, so after doing a stupid thing where I put clay INSIDE the mask, I turned it all around and put clay on TOP of the mask instead. (With glad wrap as a in-between. Hopefully I can get that off once the clay semi-hardens in the morning. ._.)

Plan C. Hopefully I will never have to use this, I don't even have a solid idea of what I'd do. Make a wire mesh on top of the mask, then put glad ware on top of it, THEN put clay on top of THAT. *snort* I don't even know if layering all of that will work, but the clay is heavy before it dries and it'll need something to hold it up. ><;

All in all, I THINK Plan B will work. I'll most likely have to do it again 'cause at the moment it looks like crap and the clay is definitely uneven. I think I'm also going to cut off the nose of the mask 'cause that just 'causes complications with a mask as flat as Hei's. =_=;

I'm pooped. Way too much excitement crammed into too little of a time. This week was so long. =___=
