ROCKTAKU WENT SO WELL! 8D
Ugh still haven't had time to fix my DVD drive, but thanks for all the suggestions, guys. :3 I'll try them at some point.
And omg, Rocktaku was full of geekiness and therefore AWESOME. It happened last night where the people coming got to cosplay and Antimotion (Ross's anime-music band) and Battlecake (Eugene's video game-music band) had their giant mixed concert. About 150 people showed up, which is quite nice for a little thing in the middle of our university's auditorium. (The concert was open to Pittsburgh, so we got some high schoolers and quite a few people from both Tekkoshocon and University of Pittsburgh.) 8D OMG IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! It was like a mini-convention!
My friend and I were helping out with the projector/laptop in the background and for some bizarre reason, we were both dressed as C.C. (I was Season 1 C.C. and she was schoolgirl!C.C.) The outfits were painful to have on for so long, but thankfully I got to sit most of the concert so I wasn't standing on four inch heels the whole time. People really liked seeing the two of us and there were a few Naruto cosplayers and a few people I didn't recognize.
Antimotion was the only band dressed up. Ross was dressed up as Lelouch from Code Geass. He looked awesome, too, even though he was acting as a dork the whole time. He could totally do the hand motions though. XD (<--I WILL BRING VIDEOS OF THIS VERY, VERY SOON! We all have tons of videos of each songs on everyone's cameras, but I'll have to find who has what song.) Eugene was dressed up as Greed from FMA, Antimotion's drummer was dressed up as the main character from One Peice, and their solo guitarist was dressed up as some guy from Naruto.
I have so many pics to show you guys but they'll be coming up soon, I swear! (I'm missing some on other people's cameras and I have to fiddle around with them on Photoshop 'cause the lighting is downright bizarre.)
